Great picture of the "girls"! Sarah was excited to hear that Olivia is the older daughter and is older and has short hair like her and Abagail is younger and has long hair like Manon. She said, it is perfect! She thinks Olivia will really happy here in America! We are keeping you all in our prayers. You are in the home stretch now! Wenday, maybe you can try to take Olivia out on your own for some one on one time. Once you are home on your own turff it will be so much better. Those first weeks together are hard! I am wondering if Olivia was very attached to a nanny or foster mother. That makes it harder to warm up to you but it will come! Sarah spent most of our time in China together ticked at me! Manon attached to Ron and once he left to go home early, Manon was not too happy to be stuck with me but they both got over these early feelings for me once we settled into life at home. It has taken Sarah several moths to warm up to Ron but it did eventually happen (poor Ron was heart broken through it though...) You just do the normal parenting things as you would do and it clicks for them one day....Another sugestion is for you to be the one doing the major care of her....hold her hand when you are out, bath time etc...Keep her on your lap when you are watching TV or eating...Hang in there friend! You are amazing people and God is doing great things for Olivis through you!
